8 Block is a ministry about being a good neighbor in a very proactive and unconditional manner.
The core of this ministry is being a church family that goes out into the immediate neighborhood to let people know that we are there for them. This could include shoveling a driveway, giving some groceries when times are tight, tutoring a child, moving a heavy box across a floor, fixing a hand rail, really any need at all, and if we can't do it we'll help find someone who can.
There is no donation involved. This is about serving, the way Christ did, out of love to all who were willing to accept it, and what better place to reach out a hand than those that live right beside you.
If you are interested in serving (we believe everyone is capable of serving) or have a need (we all need help at times) please contact the church and we'll see to it.
